Miso Peanut butter Spread

Sweetness from peanut butter blended with saltiness from miso, this spread makes perfect dip for fresh vegetables. Try on the toasted bread for a change.

¼ cup peanuts, roasted and crashed
3 ½ Tbsp unsalted, unsweetened smooth peanut butter
2 Tbsp Cold Mountain Kyoto Red Miso (or Mellow Red)
1 Tbsp honey
1 Tbsp Orange juice or mirin
1 teaspoon grated orange zest (optional)

1.Combine the crushed peanuts, peanut butter, miso, honey, orange juice or mirin and orangezest in a bowl and stir together until smooth.
2.Can be kept in the refrigerator for a few weeks. If too thickened, add a little of orange juice tomake the spread smooth.
